Cha Doo-ri and Michael Kim in Daejeon… ‘National Team’ K-League check continues

Two people who lead the national team visited Daejeon World Cup Stadium.

On the 16th at 4:30 pm, the Hana One Q K League 1 2023 7th round Daejeon Hana Citizen-Ulsan Hyundai match was held at Daejeon World Cup Stadium.

Ahead of the match, national team technical advisor Cha Doo-ri and coach Michael Kim (Kim Young-min) visited Daejeon World Cup Stadium.

This match is the biggest ‘big match’ of the 7th round. Ulsan, the league leader, leads the league alone with 6 wins in a row and 18 points since the opening. If you win until Daejeon, it will be the tie record for the most consecutive wins since the opening of all time.

Daejeon, too, continues the blast of the promoted team. With 3 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss, they are 4th in the league with 11 points. Last season, they finished second in the league and succeeded in promotion after the promotion playoffs, continuing that momentum.

Both Ulsan and Daejeon had national team players as of last March’s A match. Kim Young-kwon, Kim Tae-hwan, and Seol Young-woo were selected in March and played an active role. In addition, Um Won-sang digested 7 A-matches. In Daejeon, Cho Yu-min was on the last national team list.

Jürgen Klinsmann keeps observing current and potential national team players ahead of the A-match period in June.

Andreas Herzog, head coach, watched the first Hent-West Ham United match in the quarterfinals of the European Football Federation (UEFA) Europa Conference League (UECL) held on the 15th. There was an observation that it was to check Hyeon-seok Hong of Gent.

Coach Klinsman went on a tour of Europe on the 5th. This is to check overseas players such as Son Heung-min, Kim Min-jae, Hwang Hee-chan, Lee Kang-in, Jung Woo-young, and Hwang In-beom.

In Korea, advisor Cha and coach Michael Kim observe K-leagues. 먹튀검증
