Woo Sang-hyeok, a Korean high jumper, won a silver medal in his first outdoor event this season 먹튀검증.
Woo Sang-hyeok took second place in the men’s high jump event at the World Association of Athletics Federations 2023 Diamond League Doha held in Doha, Qatar at 1:20 am (Korean time) on the 6th, exceeding 2m27. Jubon Harrison (USA) took first place with 2m32, and Mutaz Esa Barsim (Qatar) took third place with 2m24.
The Diamond League competition hosted by the World Association of Athletics Federations invites only world-class athletes in each event. A total of nine players, including Woo Sang-hyeok, 2022 World Championships in Athletics Gold Medalist Barshim and Harrison, competed fiercely for the men’s high jump event.
Woo Sang-hyeok, who competed as the defending champion at the Diamond League Doha last year, passed the first bar height of 2m15 in the match and easily crossed 2m18, 2m21, and 2m24 in the first round. 2m27 succeeded in the third period.
Later, when Harrison succeeded in the first round of 2m30, Woo Sang-hyeok raised the bar to 2m32, but touched the bar all three times. In the end, Woo Sang-hyeok finished the tournament in second place.
After the game, Woo Sang-hyeok said through the Korea Association of Athletics Federations, “I was first in last year’s competition, but this year I was runner-up. Still, I don’t think the start is bad,” he said. “I will prepare well for the next Diamond League tournament. He will show you a good figure that continues to grow. On the other hand, after returning home on the 7th, Woo Sang-hyeok plans to participate in the 51st KBS National Track and Field Championships held in Yecheon, Gyeongbuk at 11:00 am on the 9th and the high jump competition for the 2023 Hangzhou Hangzhou Asian Games national team selection event.
